How it works

The framework reads your chart in five sequential passes. The Alignment Score is computed in code from the rubric — no model is asked to estimate it.
The Krown framework
Five layers. One read.
The framework runs in order — Trend, Volatility, Structure, Momentum, Risk. The Alignment Score is the deterministic compression of these five passes into a single 0–10 figure. It never reorders.
Trend
Higher highs and higher lows on the dominant timeframe.
Read the slope of the controlling moving averages. Direction is a precondition, not a recommendation.
Volatility
BBWP percentile — compression precedes expansion.
When volatility is in the bottom decile, energy is loaded. When it's in the top decile, the move has already paid out.
Structure
Key swing levels, invalidation, continuation.
Where does the read fail? The invalidation level is the trader's exit. The continuation level is the trader's confirmation.
Momentum
Are recent bars confirming or fading the read?
Momentum is the last layer to confirm. It's the layer most often misread on its own.
Risk
Stop distance, position sizing, asymmetry.
If the asymmetry isn't there, the conviction isn't either. Risk is what makes a setup tradeable, not the read.
